Valerie Hadeed, LPC, CSAC, NBC-HWC

Valerie has over 30 years of experience in the Mental Health Field. Valerie’s experience spans care of patients in various treatment modalities including: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Psychiatric Hospital, Long Term Residential Treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Treatment.  She has a long and successful history of startup operations together with programming new treatment facilities.  Some of her favorite clients are the ones going through major life changes such as adolescent to adulthood, divorce, or retirement. Before entering the mental health field, Valerie worked in physical health. Her experiences in Health Club Management, personal training, and exercise education shaped her lifelong commitment to excellent nutrition and exercise.  Personally, Valerie has won multiple bodybuilding competitions in addition to completing numerous marathons, half marathons, triathlons and other competitive runs.

My desire is to assist others in finding their fulfillment. By addressing your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs, you can maintain balance, manage stress, and make positive life changes towards your goals.

Volunteering 

Valerie has implemented and shared successful fundraising skills in a variety of ways; as a coach for other individuals, as well as being a member of multiple non-profit organizations.

Valerie has long been an active volunteer in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Motivated by the devastating effects that blood cancers have on children and families Valerie has raised thousands of dollars for research and treatment while increasing community awareness.

Valerie has been instrumental in guiding new marathoners in their physical training and fundraising outreach by helping them to achieve their goals.

Valerie is a member of the 1872 Society at Inova Alexandria Hospital, a non-profit organization that raises funds in support of quality medical care for their community.

Valerie sits on the Board to the Greater Washington Area for Child Help, an organization that provides food, clothing, shelter, and therapeutic services for severely abused children.

The greatest joy in Valerie’s life is being the mother of 2 children; her young adult son Michael and her elementary school age daughter, Samira.
